General FAQ
How long have you been doing this?
I have been an art photographer for over 10 years. Doing traditional portraiture as a hobby, until this past year.
Do I need to have prior modeling experience?
Not at all. Most of my clients are everyday people coming in for the very first time. I will guide you every step of the way to capture your best angles.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! Discounts, sales, and specials are offered seasonally and on a sporadic basis. You can also get discounts and special benefits by joining my circle and becoming a VIP member.
Do you travel?
YES! All shoots within 15 miles of La Porte, TX will not be charged a travel fee. Please check out my Travel Guide Page for more details. Please reach out for any destination or on location requests.
Are you going to share my photos?
Never without your signed permission! Any photo you see that is used in advertising, on social media and/or on my website have been approved by the person with a signed model and print release.
Booking
How do I book?
Simply click the “Book Your Session Now” button on any page. Or reach out to me through the contact page and I can get you booked. Whichever you prefer.
How far in advance do you book?
I can book out as far as 12 months in advance. I only require that your session be booked 2 days in advance at a minimum. Your time slot can be rescheduled up to 2 days before your session, though this isn't recommended and subject to availability. So don't wait to book, as the date and time you want may not be available.

If I need to cancel, will I get a refund?
When you buy your session, the retainer is non-refundable. Should you need to cancel you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule without paying another deposit ONLY if notice was provided 48 hours before your time slot and will ONLY be offered once, as per our booking policies. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your time slot then you will need to pay another deposit to reschedule.
Product and Delivery FAQ
How do we get our photos?
Here through my website. Your gallery will become available when completed. Your gallery is password protected for only you to view and is 100% secure. None of your images will ever be publicly shared unless you have signed a model and press release. From your gallery you can download images and order prints and products.
When will I see my photos?
About 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot. You will see your fully retouched images and make your purchases within 7 days.
Will I receive the digital files?
A limited number of digital files are available based on the package purchased. Additional products can be added to your purchase based on the A La Carte Menu.
How many photos do I get?
Check out my Session Pricing page for a detailed breakdown of whats included in each offering. If you need more images than what is provided with the package you purchased they can be purchased separately.
How much retouching is done to the images?
I believe in celebrating and loving ourselves just as we are! I keep the images pretty natural. I remove temporary things such as blemishes, scrapes, bruises, etc. I will only add or remove edit features based upon special request or the needs of the shoot for an extra charge as detailed in the A La Carte Menu. However, I will only deliver nice high quality fine art images. I will not release a photo that doesn't meet my standards.
Will my photos be edited when I see them?
Your photos will be lightly edited with some color correction and cropping in order to choose your favorites. Only selected images will get fully retouched as per the purchased package, and/or A La Carte add on.
What products do you offer?
Wall art is highly popular, where you can choose between fine art prints, gallery wrapped canvas or metal prints that are absolutely gorgeous! We offer a wide variety of digital and tangible products in our A La Carte Menu as well. Other items can be made available upon special request.
How long does it take to get my products?
Due to the custom nature of my work, orders do not take place until everything is paid in full. Then, allow up to 4-6 weeks for your order to be ready for in person pickup. Digital items will be available as soon as they are paid for in full. Items being shipped will be subject to the timeline of the shipping company, and is at their sole discretion. Robinson's Phot Gallery is in now way responsible or liable for any shipping delays or issues on the part of the shipping company.
Session Specific FAQ
What do I wear?
This depends on the style of shoot you have chosen. After booking your session, you will receive an email based on your preferences to help guide you in choosing your wardrobe along with the next steps of the process. It will cover what styles are recommended, colors, shoes, accessories, nails and personal grooming tips. Remember you always want to dress comfortably for your session.
Do I need to supply my own wardrobe?
Yes. Regardless of your type of session, you will be responsible for your own outfits and appearance.
Do I need to sign a waiver for an Animal Session?
Yes. Due to the nature of the shoot, it is required a waiver be signed that you assume the risk involved. Since the animal(s) are supplied by the client(s) the waiver protects the interests of both the client(s) as well as the photographer.
If I get bit, kicked, or injured during an Animal Session will I receive a discount?
No. As a willing participant in an Animal Session, you understand that images and products will not be discounted based on events outside of our control.
Do you provide animals for an animal session??
No, generally for an animal session the animal is provided by the client(s), as the animal is usually a pet. If the client(s) uses an animal from another source they are solely responsible and liable for the risks, management, and handling of the animal. If at any point we ever decide to supply an animal for an animal session it will be a special session and be a separate offering with its own terms and conditions.
